Dec. 4, 2024 - Ibrahim Emmanuel De La Cruz, 25, of Washington D.C., was extradited to face charges filed by criminal complaint with the alleged high-volume thefts of U.S. Mail in Washington D.C., Arlington Va., and Bowie, Maryland, as well as an armed robbery of a Postal maintenance worker, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Nov. 26, 2024 - A military judge sentenced Pfc. Shreyan Karki, 20, to four years and two months of confinement after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a fellow Soldier. The sentence comes immediately following his conviction by a military jury on Nov. 22 in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Nov. 21, 2024 - On Nov. 8, Staff Sgt. Maneul A. Erb, 39, was convicted of sexually abusing a family member and sentenced by a military judge to 11 years in prison.

Nov. 19, 2024 - Dell Technologies Inc. and Dell Federal Systems L.P. (collectively Dell), located in Austin, Texas, have agreed to pay $2,300,000 to resolve allegations that they violated the False Claims Act by submitting and causing the submission of non-competitive bids to the Army and thereby overcharging the Army under the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing 3 (ADMC-3) contract. Iron Bow Technologies LLC (Iron Bow), located in Herndon, Virginia, also agreed to pay $2,051,000 for its role in the scheme.

Nov. 13, 2024 - U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett sentenced Michael Vance Culpepper, 56, Walkersville, Maryland, to 10 years in federal prison, followed by 25 years of supervised release, for the enticement and coercion of a minor to engage in sexual activity.

Nov. 12, 2024 - A Soldier who traded child pornography online and made indecent comments regarding the sexual abuse of children pleaded guilty on Oct. 17 and was sentenced to prison by a military judge.

Nov. 6, 2024 - Jason Edmonds, age 45 of North East, Maryland was sentenced yesterday to 51 months in federal prison and 3 years of supervised release for conspiring to commit bribery at the Aberdeen Proving Ground. In addition, the Court ordered Edmonds to forfeit $111,794.83, which is equal to the value of the bribes he received.

Oct. 30, 2024 - A Soldier who persuaded his friend to sexually assault another Soldier in May of 2022 were convicted and sentenced to prison. While stationed at Camp Humphreys, Pfc. Quentin D. Fontenot, 22, approached his friend and co-worker Pfc. Ethan K. Fintroy, also 22, and encouraged him to sexually assault Fontenot’s then girlfriend.

Oct. 7, 2024 - A Ukrainian national pleaded guilty in federal court in Austin today to one count of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion. According to court documents, Mark Sokolovsky, 28, conspired to operate the Raccoon Infostealer as a malware-as-a-service or “MaaS.”

Sept. 26, 2024 - United States Attorney Clare E. Connors announced that Andre Fulton, II, 30, of Georgia, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Jill A. Otake to three months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for theft of government money. Fulton was also ordered to pay $202,309.27 in restitution and a $100 fine.
