CID Cold Case Unit

The Army CID Cold Case Unit is responsible for the oversight and investigation of unresolved homicides and long-term missing persons.

A cold case is defined as an investigation where the manner of death has been ruled as a homicide or is suspected to be a homicide and all logical investigative leads have been exhausted without resolution, or a missing persons case with extenuating circumstances or suspected to resolve in a death and all logical investigative leads have been exhausted without resolution.

Cold cases are continually reviewed and this will be updated if new information is found. We work diligently and are committed to brining criminals to justice and providing a sense of peace and resolution to families who have lost their loved ones.
