Important Note:
When releasing records to a District Attorney’s Office, a protection order protecting Department of the Army records during discovery is required before records can be used for trial. Records sent to a District Attorney’s Office prior to receiving a protection order will be Bates numbered and stamped, “For Investigative Purposes Only, Discovery Not Authorized." Once a protection order is received, you will receive a certified records packet that is authorized to be used in trial. This office will provide a protection order template with the required verbiage.
