The Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division's Public Affairs Office is committed to communicating CID's message to military and civilian audiences worldwide.

The CID Public Affairs Officer advises the Director and executes the Director's public information, media relations, community relations and agency information missions. The CID Public Affairs Office has sole release authority and acts as the spokesman for the agency. The Public Affairs Office's function is to provide timely, accurate, and truthful communication about the agency and its activities to Special Agents and their professional staffs, Soldiers, family members, retirees, and the American public.
