QUANTICO, Va. –
Valeria Tikhonova, a Special Agent at the Far East Field Office located in Camp Humphreys, South Korea. Tikhonova an evidence custodian and Senior Enlisted Advisor/Chief Investigator, has been with CID for over 12 years and with the Army for 17 years. Tinkonova is of Asian-Pacific descent born in Vladivostok, Russia, an Asian part of the Eurasia continent called the Far East, located on the Asian side of the Pacific Ocean by the East Sea.
May holds special significance for her as a woman of Asian-Pacific descent, as it is a time to celebrate the rich cultural heritage, unique experiences, and invaluable contributions of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
Tikhonova says, “the month is a reminder of the resilience, strength, and ingenuity of the AAPI community, as well as the traditions of the lunar new year and respect for elders and ancestors.”
