Feb. 10, 2025 - A former soldier who served at Joint Base Lewis-McChord was sentenced to more than seven years in federal prison for abusive sexual contact with a child who he had locked in a closet in 2012 at the Army-Air Force base in Washington.
U.S. Army Major Sentenced to 70 Months for Smuggling Firearms to Ghana
Feb. 5, 2025 - Kojo Owuso Dartey, age 42, of Fort Liberty, was sentenced to 70 months in prison and three years of supervised release for false statements made to an agency of the United States, false declarations before the court, conspiracy, dealing in firearms without a license, delivering firearms without notice to the carrier, smuggling goods from the United States, and illegally exporting firearms without a license.
Ft. Campbell Soldier Sentenced to 87 Months in Federal Prison on Child Sexual Abuse Charges
Feb. 4, 2025 - Donald Lee Collins, 41, of Clarksville, Tennessee, was sentenced yesterday to 87 months in federal prison after having pled guilty to two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and one count of attempted transfer of obscene material to an individual under the age of sixteen, announced Robert E. Abedini is also charged with providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization (FTO), that resulted in the deaths of three U.S. service members who were killed by a one-way attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), also known as a drone, on a military base in Jordan.

Soldier convicted of sexual assault, sentenced to prison
Nov. 26, 2024 - A military judge sentenced Pfc. Shreyan Karki, 20, to four years and two months of confinement after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a fellow Soldier. The sentence comes immediately following his conviction by a military jury on Nov. 22 in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Nov. 19, 2024 - Dell Technologies Inc. and Dell Federal Systems L.P. (collectively Dell), located in Austin, Texas, have agreed to pay $2,300,000 to resolve allegations that they violated the False Claims Act by submitting and causing the submission of non-competitive bids to the Army and thereby overcharging the Army under the Army Desktop and Mobile Computing 3 (ADMC-3) contract. Oct. 30, 2024 - A Soldier who persuaded his friend to sexually assault another Soldier in May of 2022 were convicted and sentenced to prison.
While stationed at Camp Humphreys, Pfc. Quentin D. Fontenot, 22, approached his friend and co-worker Pfc. Ethan K. Fintroy, also 22, and encouraged him to sexually assault Fontenot’s then girlfriend.

Oct. 7, 2024 - A Ukrainian national pleaded guilty in federal court in Austin today to one count of conspiracy to commit computer intrusion.
According to court documents, Mark Sokolovsky, 28, conspired to operate the Raccoon Infostealer as a malware-as-a-service or “MaaS.”
