First Sergeant Marvin C. Marlow enlisted in the U.S. Army in May 1993. He completed Military Police One Station Unit Training at Fort McClellan, AL.

First Sergeant Marlow has served in a variety of positions including Military Police Driver, Gunner, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, MP Investigator, MPI NCOIC, CID Special Agent, Detachment Sergeant, Battalion Evidence Custodian, Battalion Operations NCO, and Battalion HHD Detachment Sergeant.

His previous unit assignments include: 527th MI Battalion, Augsburg Germany; 463rd Military Police Company, Fort Leonard Wood, MO; 272nd Military Police Company, Mannheim Germany; Law Enforcement Command/DES, Fort Knox, KY; 55th Military Police Company, Camp Paige Korea; 280th Military Police Detachment (CID), Fort Knox, KY; Hawaii Field Office (CID), Schofield Barracks, HI; HHD 19th Military Police Battalion (CID), Wheeler Army Airfield, HI, United States Army Protective Services Battalion (CID), Fort Belvoir, VA. He has deployed in support of Operations Joint Forge/Guard, Croatia and Bosnia as well as Operation Iraqi Freedom, Baghdad, Iraq.

First Sergeant Marlow’s military education include: SLC, ALC, WLC, Military Police Investigators Course, Domestic Violence Investigations Training, Child Abuse Prevention/Investigation Techniques, Advance Crime Scene Investigative Techniques, Special Agent Lab Training, Evidence Management Course, ¬†Protective Services Training and Antiterrorism Driving Course. 1SG Marlow is a graduate of the Canadian Police College , has an Associate’s Degree from Central Texas College and is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice.

His awards and badges include: Meritorious Service Medal (2 OLC); Army Commendation Medal (6 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (2 OLC); Army Good Conduct Medal (6), National Defense Service Medal (1 BS), Korean Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, NATO Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal (1CS), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 4), Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 3), Army Meritorious Unit Citation Award, the CID CSIB, and the Germany Army Marksmanship Award (Silver). 1SG Marlow is a recipient of the MP Corps Commandant’s 100.
