Command Sergeant Major, 3rd MP Group (CID)

Command Sergeant Major Andre Proctor is a native of Brandon, Mississippi where he graduated from High School in 1987.  He entered the Army in September 1988 as a 13B Cannon Crewmember, completing Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

His duty assignments consist of Babeanhausan, Germany; 2/83d Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; 1/20th and 1/82d Field Artillery, Camp Casey, Korea; 1/15th Field Artillery, the 11th MP BN (CID), Fort Hood Resident Agency (CID); Camp Casey Korea; the 19th MP BN (CID), Fort Lewis, Washington; 22d MP BN (CID), Mannheim, Germany; 5th MP BN (CID) and the 202d MP Group, Fort Riley, Kansas; 1001st MP BN (CID), Fort Bliss, Texas; United States Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 10th MP BN (CID) (ABN), and Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia; 3rd MP Group (CID).

During his career, CSM Proctor has served in various positions such as Cannon Crewmember Advance Party, Gunner, Section Chief, Gunnery Sergeant, Criminal Investigator, Evidence Custodian, Detachment Sergeant, Group Operations Sergeant, Battalion First Sergeant, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and Brigade Command Sergeant Major.

Command Sergeant Major Proctor's military and civilian education includes Basic and Advanced Individual Training (Honor Graduate), Primary Leadership Development Course (Commandant's List), Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course (Leadership Award and Honor Graduate), Advance Non-Commissioned Officer Course (Commandant's Inspection Award and Commandant's List), First Sergeant Course (Commandant's Award), United States Army Sergeant Major Course Class 58, Criminal Investigation Course, Total Army Retention Course, Effective Military Writing Course, Logistics Training Team (ULLS-S4), Equal Opportunity Leadership Course, Combat LifeSaver Course, Canadian Police Academy, Texas Regional Police Academy, Special Agent Laboratory Training, Counter Drug Investigations, Advance Crime Scene Investigative Techniques, Family Advocacy Staff Training, Child Abuse Prevention and Investigative Techniques, Protective Services Training, Child Abuse Joint Interview Training, Environmental Crimes Investigations, and Federal Workers' Compensation Fraud.  He holds an Associate's degree in General Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management and Human Relations.

Command Sergeant Major Proctor Honors includes 1/82d Field Artillery Soldier of the Year, 1st Cavalry Division Soldier of the Year, Sergeant Audie Murphy and Sergeant Morales Club Member, USACIDC Enlisted Agent of the Year, and a Recipient of the MP Order of the Marechaussee.
