Command Sergeant Major Andre Proctor is a native of Brandon, Mississippi
where he graduated from High School in 1987.  He entered the Army in
September 1988 as a 13B Cannon Crewmember, completing Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

His duty assignments consist of Babeanhausan, Germany; 2/83d Field Artillery Battalion, Fort Hood, Texas; 1/20th and 1/82d Field Artillery, Camp Casey, Korea; 1/15th Field Artillery, the 11th MP BN (CID), Fort Hood Resident Agency (CID); Camp Casey Korea; the 19th MP BN (CID), Fort Lewis, Washington; 22d MP BN (CID), Mannheim, Germany; 5th MP BN (CID) and the 202d MP Group, Fort Riley, Kansas; 1001st MP BN (CID), Fort Bliss, Texas; United States Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; 10th MP BN (CID) (ABN), and Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia; 3rd MP Group (CID).

During his career, CSM Proctor has served in various positions such as Cannon Crewmember Advance Party, Gunner, Section Chief, Gunnery Sergeant, Criminal Investigator, Evidence Custodian, Detachment Sergeant, Group Operations Sergeant, Battalion First Sergeant, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and Brigade Command Sergeant Major.
