37th Military Police Detachment (CID)

The 37th Military Police Detachment (CID) is headquartered at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and is comprised of the Fort Jackson and Fort Gordon CID Offices.

The Fort Jackson CID Office’s core mission is to provide the highest quality criminal investigative support to the U.S. Army Commander’s within two Combat Training Brigades, the 193rd Infantry Brigade and 165th Infantry Brigade; the 171st Infantry Brigade, the U.S Army Soldier Support Institute, the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Center, the National Center for Credibility Assessment, the U.S. Army Reserve Readiness Command, the US Army Garrison and support units assigned. 

Fort Gordon CID Office provides timely and actionable Criminal Investigative support to Commander’s of the 7th Signal Command, 15th Signal Brigade, 35th Signal Brigade, 513th Military Intelligence Brigade, 706th Military Intelligence Group, US Army Garrison Fort Gordon, and support units assigned.

Both offices conduct felony investigations in which the Army has an interest within South Carolina, Georgia and western North Carolina.  CID investigative operation support for missions in Afghanistan and Kuwait are ongoing.

The Fort Jackson CID Office Commander is SA Eric Geraci.  The Detachment Sergeant is SA Gerald Wilson.

The Fort Gordon CID Office Special Agent in Charge is SA Angel Miles.  The Detachment Sergeant is SFC Michael Rascoe.
